Thomas Taylor

Thomas Joseph Taylor Sr., of Crowley, (69 years old), passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 15, 2020.  He entered into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ and now is seeing sights that we can only imagine.  He was born on December 12, 1950 in Cleburne, Texas to William Edward Taylor and Marjorie Hamilton (Parker) Taylor.  He married Janice Kay Walker on Feb 15, 1970 and they just celebrated their 50th anniversary.

Tom loved to tell railroad stories to anybody who would listen, and boy could he tell stories.  He never met a stranger.  When he got saved, he loved to tell everyone he met about how the Lord saved him and now he's headed to heaven.  He was so on fire when he accepted Christ.  At the grocery store, at the mall, anywhere he went if he saw a stranger that looked like they would listen he would start up a conversation.  He was definitely one of a kind.  He will be terribly missed but is now pain free and has his new body that he would always tell people he was going to get with no more suffering or pain!

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Janice Taylor; children, Tommy Taylor, Jr. (son), wife Gabriela Taylor, Jessica Maynard (daughter) and Joshua Taylor, (son), wife Carrie Taylor; grandchildren, Caleb, Ashton and Jacob Maynard, and Mollie and Nora Taylor.

A private family graveside service will be held Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Nancy Smith Cemetery in Glen Rose, Texas.
