Tiffany Michelle Rodriguez, 43, went home on September 2, 2023. Tiffany was born on December 9th, 1979. She was loved dearly by her mother, Laura Maldonado Wells and father, Charles Allen Wells. Charlie came into her life when Tiffany was 4 years old, and loved her every day of his life. Tiffany grew up in Kennedale, Texas and graduated from Kennedale High School in 1998. She worked at Baylor All Saints and discovered her passion for nursing. She graduated from TCC with a degree in Nursing in 2015. She began her career at Baylor Scott White in Temple, Texas, and went on to work at several other local hospitals until she found her calling working at John Peter Smith Hospital. Tiffany would always say that she not only loved the people she worked with, she loved the patients that needed a nurse like her, and the patients felt the same. She was nominated and received the Daisy Award.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Epolito ( Bill) Maldonado and Martha Jean Lauver . Her paternal grandparents; Charles Clifton Wells and Patricia Ann Wells. Her beloved uncles; Billy E. Maldonado and Martin Maldonado. She was welcomed home by her loving father; Charles Allen Wells and of course Domino, her "Miss Poopsie" and Mimi, "The Pirate",
She is survived by her mother; Laura Maldonado Wells, her favorite sister and brother; Alissa Wells and Martin Wells..Along with uncles, aunts and cousins who loved her and will miss her daily.
A visitation will be held at Emerald Hills on Friday, September 8th, from 5:00-7:00 pm. Services and burial will be Saturday, September 9th starting at 10:00 am. at Emerald Hills.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Community Healthcare of Texas - Hospice House at Huguley. The care and love that was given to Tiffany will never be forgotten. We are forever in your debt.
Tiffany fought cancer, and won! She showed everyone what a mustard seed of faith could do. We asked for healing, and we received the ultimate healing for Tiffany. She now wears a crown of glory and we are thankful to God for the time we had her.
