Timothy Paul Bryan Sr., a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home in Crowley, Texas, on March 9, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on October 27, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas, he was the son of Enos and Margaret Walsh Bryan.
Tim grew up in Fort Worth, where he cultivated friendships and cherished memories that would stay with him throughout his life. He graduated from Tremble Tech High School in 1968, marking the beginning of a journey filled with service and dedication to his community and family. Shortly after graduation, Tim joined the United States Army in 1970, fulfilling a calling to serve his country during a pivotal time in history. He served diligently for four years, including time in the Vietnam War, where he distinguished himself as a combat engineer and was honored with The Army Commendation Medal before being discharged in 1974.
Following his military service, Tim began a fruitful career at UPS as a delivery driver, a role he embraced wholeheartedly. Over the course of 28 years, he became a familiar and friendly face in the communities he served, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike, before retiring in 2000.
In 1977, Tim found love when he married Cynthia Costello in Weatherford, Texas. Their marriage was a testament to partnership and devotion, lasting an inspiring 47 years. Together, they forged a life filled with love, laughter, and mutual support.
A devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Worth, Timothy demonstrated his faith through service and community involvement. He found joy in working in his yard and spending time in his woodshed, where he pursued his interests and enjoyed the beauty of nature.
Timothy's legacy is carried on by his beloved spouse, Cynthia, residing in Crowley, Texas; his son, Tim Jr., of Fort Worth, Texas; and his grandson, Jeremy, also of Fort Worth, Texas. Timothy was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Randell Bryan, whose memory will always remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
As we remember Timothy Paul Bryan Sr., we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by service, commitment, and love. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know him.
