ARLINGTON -- Tommy Frank Blakely, 77, of Arlington, Tx. passed away peacefully on 5/22/2011. He was born on 11/17/1933 in , Frederick, Ok. to his parents, Frank and Juanita.
Graveside: 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 27, at Emerald Hills Memorial Park, 500 Sublett Road, Kennedale, Tx.. Visitation: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 27, prior to the graveside.
Tommy was an only child. He married Jo Ann Early in Manitou, OK on 07/19/1958. They had 3 children. He attended Fredrick High School and graduated in 1952. He served in the Army for 3 years and the reserves for 4 years. He was a longtime resident of Arlington for 45 years and retired from LTV/Vought and Ketama in 1995. He enjoyed fishing, golf, watching Westerns on TV and playing poker with his buddies.
Tommy will be remembered by his loving wife and their children, Mark and Natalie Blakely, Jay Blakely, both of Arlington Jana and Martin Cabal of Mansfield. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Predeceased in death by Juanita Blakely and Frank Blakely.
