Ms. Valerie Gibbons

GRAND PRAIRIE -- Valerie Hope Gibbons lost her ongoing battle with pancreatic cancer on April 29, 2008.
Valerie was born to Thomas Patrick and Elizabeth Ronsmans Gibbons on February 10, 1939, in Manhattan, New York. She married William Dennis Bree, Jr. in September 1958, and after her youngest son started school in 1966, she continued her journey of education and employment that eventually led to her becoming a Hospice Nurse for American Hospice in Dallas, Texas.
She celebrated her life from the day she was born until the day she died. She is survived by her three children: William Dennis Bree III, Deborah Ann Griffin, and Douglas Patrick Bree. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and a wealth of friends and co-workers who were more like extended family members than just people she worked with.
A memorial service honoring her life will be forthcoming. Valerie's infectious laughter and eager smile will be sorely missed.
