Vance Benthall

Vance Douglas Benthall, age 83, passed away at his home in Forest Hill, Texas on December 6, 2017. He was born January 16, 1934 to JW Benthall and Ruth Juanita (McCormick) Benthall. Vance was married to Odessa Reeve Benthall for 63 years.
Vance was a generous and hardworking man. He was a retired truck driver and lived in Texas most of his life. He lived in Oregon during World War II. Vance welded as a hobby and was an avid bowler. He also loved football and boxing.
He was survived by his wife, Odessa Reeve Benthall; children, Dale Benthall and wife Joyce, Troy Benthall and wife Tammy, and Amber Brewer; grandchildren, Wendy Benthall, Dusty Benthall, Brittney Campos, Kenneth Benthall, and Delana Benthall; great grandchildren, Ryder Benthall, Jovi Vandertuin, Jacob Campos, and Liam Campos.
Vance was preceded in death by his parents, JW and Ruth Benthall; son, Donny Jay Benthall; brother, Don Benthall; and granddaughter, Lauren Benthall Davis and her husband CJ.

Graveside service will be Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 10:00A.M. at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 from 6:00-8:00P.M. at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale, Texas.
