Virginia “Jenny” Weinert, 72, passed away on April 16, 2025, surrounded by her family in Arlington, Texas. She was born on October 31, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, to Bill Baxter and Beverly Dahms.

Jenny grew up in Burbank, Illinois, and graduated from Reavis High School in 1971. After high school, she began working and held many jobs including customer service, management, and finally landed at CoreLogic as a Recovery Specialist, where she worked for 27 years. She retired in 2025.

Jenny married William “Bill” Weinert in 1972 in Oak Lawn, Illinois. They were happily married for 52 years. They met and began dating in 1968, and enjoyed roller skating together in their earlier days. More recently, they went shopping at antique stores and estate sales together. She enjoyed working, spending time with her family, cooking, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Beverly Baxter; her brother, Bill Baxter; and her sister, Beverly Baxter.

Jenny is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Weinert of Arlington, Texas; her daughters, Dr. Sandi Hock (Dwayne) of Joliet, Illinois, Jacque Lewis (Roger) of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Jessica Hyatt of Cleburne, Texas; her son, Nicholas Weinert (Jessa-Minn) of Mansfield, Texas; her brother, Mark Baxter (Valerie) of Steger, Illinois; her sister, Doreen Zaldivar of Oak Lawn, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Justyn, Andrew, Jacob, Jarrett, Zakary, Jillian, Mason, Layla, and Alice. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale, Texas 76060, at 3:00 p.m. on April 23, 2025. A visitation will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. the same day.
