ARLINGTON -- Wallace Griffin passed away Monday, April 7, 2014, in Fort Worth.
Service: Noon Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6300 Crawford Lane, Forest Hill. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, Kennedale.
Memorials: May be made in Wallace's memory to Universal Health Services, Attention: John, 5651 Bridge St., Fort Worth, Texas 76112, in lieu of flowers.
Wallace was born in September 1939 to Loma Wesley and Pauline Griffin. He will be remembered as a man who loved sports and was especially fond of the Rangers and the Cowboys. He also loved to watch the horse races. Wally had a tremendous love of family.
Wallace was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Griffin; wife, Janice Griffin; and son, Kevin Parsley.
Survivors: Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Heath Griffin (Brandy), Jerry Parsley; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Parsley; grandchildren, Lane Griffin, Robert Stringfellow, Kayla Parsley; great-grandchild, Haylen Stringfellow; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family; and many dear friends.
