Wanda Pauline Barnes

Wanda Pauline Barnes, 86 passed away on October 5, 2023 at her home in Arlington, TX. Wanda was born on December 23, 1936 in Sweetwater, TX to William and Beulah (Williams) Berkley.

She grew up in Sweetwater, TX and attended Sweetwater High School. Wanda Married Albert Barnes in 1955 in Sweetwater, TX and they were happily married for 67 years. She was a faithful member of the Parkview Baptist Church for several years.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, William and Beulah Berkley; and three sisters, Daphine, Francis and Billie.

Wanda is survived by her spouse, Albert of Arlington, TX; three sons, Ron, Steve and David all of Arlington, TX; six grandchildren, Marsha, Natalie, Nolan, Hillari, Shelley and Jared; eight great-grandchildren, Maxtyn, Channing, Monroe, Jackson, Sawyer, Carter, Annie and Jensen.

A visitation will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd Kennedale, TX 76060, October 18, 2023, 10-11:45 a.m. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at DFW National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy Dallas, TX 75211.
