Wanda Gene Burson

Wanda Gene Burson, 91, passed away on November 10th, 2023 at Heritage at Turner Park Nursing home in Grand Prairie, Tx.  She was born on September 22, 1932. in Tuxedo, Tx to Carl and Ruby Mae Hill Johnson. Wanda grew up in Stamford, Tx. She graduated from Stamford High school in Stamford, Tx in 1951. After high school he she began work for Southwestern Bell as a payroll associate where she worked for 35 years. Wanda was involved in many church organizations and loved serving the Lord. 

Wanda enjoyed reading, cooking, and travelling with friends but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Ruby Mae Johnson, children: Pamela Ann Long and Rickey Lynn Burson. Wanda is survived by grandchildren Robert and wife Kelley Long, Clint and wife Shayna Long, Brittany Burson, Kristin Morales and husband Jimmy, and Tiffany Conrad and husband Matt; her great-grandchildren Howard Long, Jordan Long, Courtney Long, Emma Conrad, Eiden Conrad, Jackson Emerine and Alina Long.
