Wayne Barlow Sr.

Wayne Mitchell Barlow Sr., 73, passed away on July 11, 2021 at Hughley Hospital in Burleson, Tx.  He was born on July 10, 1948 in Richmond, VA to Jessie and Laura Clemons Barlow. Wayne grew up in Norton, VA, joined the U.S. Army in 1964 and served 5 years. He served in Vietnam in 82nd airborne and was the recipient of Bronze Star, Purple Heart, National Defense medal, Army Commendation medal and Air medal. He was discharged in 1969 achieving rank of Sergeant E4.

Wayne was an over the road truck driver for many years. He owned Eagle Towing and was a Pro Mod Racer for years. Wayne married Linda in 1974 in Richmond, VA. They were married for 47 years. He enjoyed racing, family and spending time with Linda.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Jessie & Laura Barlow and numerous siblings. Wayne is survived by his spouse Linda Barlow of Fort Worth, Tx, his daughter Sandra(Steven) Martinez of Fort Worth, their children Kim(Jereme)Molina and Ronnie(Sarah)Miller, Rebecca(Russell Stouffer)Johnson of Ft.Worth, Tx, her children Ashley(Rikki)Eubanks, Brandy(Brandon)Young, Michael Scott, Leon(Janay)Williams, Marie(Ronnie) Jackson of South Carolina, children Bryan & William, Robin(Greg)Pack of Florida, children Gregory(Sasha)Pack, Kayla(Brandon)White and Kimberly Pack, Christy(Emmitt)Barlow Woods of Roanoke, children McKaylen(Doug) Yount, Tyler Rutherford, Ryleigh Livingston. Sons, Roger(Chrissy)Hornbuckle of Wisconsin, children Kayle(Michael)Mullins, Matthew(Michelle)Hornbuckle, Chrystyan, Bayley, Trisha, Annaleigh, Jennifer, Lexi, Wayne Mitchell(Jennifer) Barlow Jr. of Arlington, children- Brenden, Laura(Benjamin) Davis, Jeffery, Elyse, Anthony;  Numerous great grandchildren, nieces & nephews & other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to V.A. of North Texas & St. Jude Children's Hospital.
