William Dicken

William A. Dicken, age 89, passed away on May 14, 2021 at his home in Arlington, Texas. He was born on November 8, 1931 in Richmond, Indiana to Samuel A. Dicken and Ruth E. Moore Dicken.

William, known as Bill, grew up in Richmond, Indiana. He graduated from Richmond High School in 1950. After high school William joined the Navy. After completing his service, he was a successful clothier, running his own business until retirement.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Joe, Marvin, Lloyd, and Jim, and his son, Barry Dicken. He is survived by brother, Donald, and two children, Brad and Kathy.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Vitas Hospice and The Borrowed Sister.
