William Seago Sr.

Mansfield

William Earl Seago Sr., of Mansfield, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 12, 2019.  He was born on August 25, 1938 in Tarrant County, Texas to John Hugh Seago and Fannie May (Bullock) Seago and grew up in the New Hope community northwest of Mansfield.  Bill married his wife Wanda (Bonner) Seago on April 27, 1957 and they were blessed with four sons.  He graduated from Mansfield High School class of 1956, retired from General Motors after 37 years of service, and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and teacher for many years until his health prevented him.  He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Alan Seago; parents, John Hugh and Fannie Mae Seago; sisters, Virginia Anderson, Wanda Jahren, and Lois Treadway; and brother, Jerrell Seago.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Wanda Seago; sons, Bill Seago Jr. and wife Ursula, John Hugh Seago and wife Sherri, Thomas Wayne Seago; grandchildren, Sarah Poston and husband Paul, Caleb Seago, Phillip Seago, Harlan Seago, Sandra Seago, Charlotte Seago, Rebecca Seago, Brett Seago, Alani Seago; great grandson, Wesley Poston; sisters, Nell Smith and husband Richard and Ruth Howell and husband Jerry; and brother, Raymond Seago and wife Norma.

Funeral service for Bill will be Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 10:30AM at New Hope Baptist Church 6765 Dick Price Road Mansfield, Texas with Pastor Michael Postell officiating.  The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, February 15, 2019 from 6:00-8:00PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale.
