ARLINGTON -- William R. Shawver, 86, passed away Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014.
Memorial service: 10 a.m. Monday for Bill's Town Village family at Town Village Arlington. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Tuesday for friends and family with a visitation an hour prior in Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
"Mr. Bill," as he was known to his friends and family at Town Village, was very involved in his community. Bill was passionate about the Lord and was constantly praying for people he loved and was known as a spiritual leader to many. Bill proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; son, Bobby; granddaughter, Shelli; one brother; and one sister.
Survivors: He is survived by his daughters, Karen Moore and Mark, Kathy Spitale and husband, Jason; grandchildren, Asia Wall and husband, Daniel, Jenny Christianson and husband, Scott, Charlotte Brewer, Bryan Moore and wife, Lindsey, Kyle Moore, David Edmondson; great-grandchildren, Brady Hayes, Ocean Wall, Ashton Spitale;, and numerous other loving friends and family.
