FOREST HILL -- Wilma Jane Elmore Williams went to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011.
Graveside service: Noon Friday in Emerald Hills Memorial Park, 500 Sublett Road, Kennedale. Visitation: 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in her memory to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 3100 Samford Ave., Shreveport, La. 71103.
Jane was born to Joseph and Gladys Slone Elmore on May 1, 1925, in Harleton. She grew up in East Texas, and after her marriage lived in Shreveport and New Orleans. She had been a resident of For Worth since 1963. Jane retired from Sears, Roebuck & Co., having worked in the credit department for many years. Mother will always be remembered for the beautiful and intricate handsewing she loved to do.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Fern Johnson and Wanda Willis; and her loving husband of 60 years, Leonard.
Survivors: Daughters, Linda Lamkin and husband, Ed, of Ruston, La., and Sandy Dion and husband, David, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Lisa Dion, Jill Griffin and husband, Jeremy, Kimberly Lamkin and Len Lamkin and wife, Michelle; sister, Fawn Ruff; and great-grandchildren, Samantha and Angela Tan, Chloe and Camille Lamkin.
