James Turner

James Patrick Turner, 82, passed peacefully on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Mansfield Methodist Hospital in Mansfield, Texas. He was born on December 19, 1938 in Dallas, Texas to Russell (Bob) and Inez (Sims) Turner.

Pat grew up in Kennedale, Texas. He attended Polytech High School in Fort Worth, Texas. He was happily involved in Pleasantview Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas. He enjoyed visiting, hunting, sports and most of all spending time with his family.

Pat married Wilda on July 11, 1959 in Kennedale, Texas. They were happily married for 62 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pat is survived by his spouse, Wilda of Kennedale, Texas, his two sons, Kirk (Julie) Turner of Iredell, Texas and Kelly (Jill) Turner of Kennedale, Texas; a brother, Ted (Nancy) Turner of Richland Hills, Texas;  grandchildren, Bailey (Jared) Jacobsen, Macy Turner, Jordan (Lenny) Loughner, Hannah Turner, Ben Turner, Reid Turner, and Jake Turner; and one great-grandchild, Ryker Loughner.
